[cg:newsuper\marco jalomo\s. Texas expo organizer] 07:28:24 we started in 2011 and it's grown by leaps and bounds, it's pretty impressive the support we get from the community.
South Texas Expo organizer, Marco Jalomo says this year he's seen a lot more support not only from the community, but people from out of town. Word has spread about this event and he's getting more vendors from out of town signing up. Something he says is a good thing.
[cg:newsuper\marco\s. Texas expo organizer] 07:49:29 it feels fantastic, often people say there’s nothing to do in Laredo but there is 08:46:17 events like this are important it shows our growth.
Ju Gomez is a vendor from San Antonio and heard about the expo through a friend. Compared to last year he says the event definitely has more vendors.

Events like this give fans a chance to dress up as their favorite characters. Vendors tend to dress up as well; Spencer Doe was dressed as Batman and shares why he does it.
[cg:newsuper\spencer doe\batman] 39:38:16 it's a cool way to express yourself 39:47:00 that's why I do it. I love batman, it's an enjoyable hobby
So whether you're a collector, a fan, or just looking for a good time. This event has something for everyone.
Now if you were unable to make it today the event is happening tomorrow. All you have to do is make it down to the Laredo Civic Center and buy your tickets. The event starts at ten in the morning and ends at five in the afternoon. Children 6 and under are free. 6 to 12 is five dollars and above that ten. It's a great event for the whole family to enjoy. For KGNS, I'm James Johnson.
