Laredo C.B.P. officer recognized with national award

A Customs and Border Protection officer receives a special award today.
C.B.P. Officer Diego Hernandez was recognized for having the most seizures of both narcotics and undeclared currency.
Officials of the white house office of national drug control policy were on hand for the ceremony.
U.S. Interdiction Coordinator Patrick Ward presented the national award.
Hernandez says he's both honored and proud but doesn't’t want to leave out those who work around him.

Hernandez’s family and friends were also present for the ceremony.
