Chamber asking locals for patience with Mexican shoppers

Businesses around Laredo had a good holiday weekend as many hit the stores to get the best sales.
According to the Laredo Chamber of Commerce the holiday weekend saw a steady amount of shoppers.
With all the Mexican shoppers that have come in to spend in the Gateway City officials ask Laredoans to be patient.
"These folks are bringing in money and they are buying in our stores. That money circulates and creates jobs and its good for everybody. Lets do our shopping early and be patient with our Mexican friends and everyone will have a Merry Christmas."
Official numbers will not be out for another month but its being projected that the City of Laredo has nothing to worry about.
