Car chase involving illegal immigrants ends with at least one arrest and four people taken to the hospital

Fifteen people are involved in a collision in Rio Bravo after sheriff's deputies are led on a high-speed chase.
It all happened early this evening off of Zapata Highway.
According to authorities, Border patrol agents noticed illegal immigrants getting into a vehicle near the river.
They called in the sheriffs department to try to intercept a black car on the highway.
When authorities moved in the driver of the car made a “u” turn and sped off, later slamming into two other vehicles.
One of those was an 18-passenger van carrying several elderly people.
Four people were sent to the hospital in stable condition.
In all the driver and four undocumented worker were taken into custody.
