Annual Spring Parade through El Cenizo delights crowd

It was a cool, but nice day for residents of El Cenizo who enjoyed their annual Spring parade. The parade made its way through the main street of El Cenizo. Some of the invited guests included the town’s law enforcement agencies as well as Laredo Police and Border Patrol. Sheriff Martin Cuellar and Webb County Judge Danny Valdez showered spectators with beads and candy. Over 50 floats and organizations took part in the parade. Stay tuned to pro 8 news at ten, when our very own Annette Garcia will bring us a closer look at the beloved tradition.
