Bruni House Fire Spreads Causing A Minor Grassfire

A house fire in Bruni leaves a family homeless and causes a grassfire to spread into the surrounding area.
According to fire officials, it took five units from the Laredo fire department to put out the blaze.
Crews spent over an hour trying to contain it.
They are currently investigating the cause of that fire.
The house was fully engulfed and sustained significant fire damage.
Luckily, no one was injured.
But the fire did spread into the surrounding brush and grassy areas, causing a grassfire.
Officials say the grassfire did not consume a large area.
Fire crews were able to catch it and prevent it from going into surrounding houses.
