A.T.F. has stern warning for spring breakers traveling into Mexico

By Ray Gomez

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is tonight urging all college students to avoid parts of Northern Mexico during spring break.
It's an unusual step following a warning by the state department asking Americans to stay away from areas of prostitution and drug dealing.
A.T.F. agents believe that all areas of Northern Mexico, especially Ciudad Juarez and Tijuana could pose potential problems for all spring breakers.
The stern warning comes during the bloodiest drug war in Mexico’s history.
Last year over six thousand people were killed by cartels battling over lucrative drug routs in Mexico.
So far this year, over one thousand people have been killed in the drug wars.
