Local Fans Marvel over Free Comics

Comic fans may already know that today is national Free Comic Book Day; and a local comic book store isn't being left out. Dozens packed Legacy Comics on McPherson for their free comic book. Over 2 million comic books are expected to be given away by participating stores to promote literacy among youth. Store owners say it is a great way to stir the imaginations of readers of all ages. He says Laredoans show huge enthusiasm for reading the popular books. "We had a line of people outside before we opened up. We have Roarshcach here from 'The Watchmen' and it's been a great day," says Chris Niles, owner of Legacy Comics. This is the 8th year people across the nation have celebrated Free Comic Book Day.
