Mayors establish dialog with meeting

The city of Laredo mayor met with two neighboring mayors this afternoon to establish dialog with the three cities.
Its part of Laredo’s good neighbor act.
Today the City of Laredo mayor met with the mayor of El Cenizo, Raul Reyes along with the mayor of Rio Bravo, Nora Rivera.
In this meeting, these city leaders talked about working together on issues concerning economic development, infrastructure, and security.
Rio bravo's mayor voiced one of her communities big concerns.. Domestic violence.
She believes the city of Laredo’s domestic violence unit could help provide victims in her community a stronger voice.
Mayor Raul Salinas told mayor Rivera the City of Laredo would be working with her community to help give those victims a voice.
