Dead Body Found in South Laredo

Emergency crews were called to South Laredo this morning, after they received reports of a body lying motionless on the side of the road. It happened at 6 a.m this morning on the 1600 block of South Martin. That's where emergency crews found the body of a man in his late 20's to early 30's. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers with the Laredo Police Department were called in to investigate. The case was turned over to the Crimes Against Persons unit. The Webb County Medical Examiner will be performing an autopsy. No word yet on exactly what the cuase of death was at this time.
