Reward offered: Rare bird stolen from pet store

A rare baby bird is stolen from Petland, and the store's owners are worried for the bird's health. These are images captured from the stores security camera, of a man walking into the Petland store on Thursday and snatching the baby sun conure from its cage. The man is later seen putting the young bird in his pocket and exiting the store. Store owners are outraged and concerned for the bird's health.
“This is a young bird that was receiving a special diet and was very accustom to being in our care and would receive special instruction when someone is taking it home. It really wasn't ready to be taken from our store at this point."
The bird is worth $450 however, the owners are offering a thousand dollar reward for the safe return of the bird.
