October is Physical Therapy Month and organizers at the Ruth B. Cowl Center say they are proud to be pioneers for this type of service.
Last year, they provided more than 74 thousand physical therapy sessions in their facility. They have provided millions of visits since opening back in 1959.
According to their executive directors, they have many programs in their facility:
"We welcome everyone that has a need for physical therapy. Whether they have insurance or have no means of paying, we do have a social service program."
The Ruth B. Cowl Physical Therapy Center also celebrated its 50th anniversary.
