TASER manufacturer issues warning to police

By Ray Gomez

The makers of a stun gun warn police not to shoot at a suspect's chest for fear of heart issues.
Arizona-based TASER International says there could be a small risk of "adverse cardiac event."
It’s the first time such a warning has been issued for the 50-thousand volt TASER but critics call it a stunning reversal for the manufacturer.
The company does not believe the gun will cause cardiac arrest but wants users to avoid controversy by staying clear of the chest.
