LMC hosts tea party for breast cancer survivors

Laredo Medical Center did their part to pay tribute to breast cancer survivors.

This evening friends and family joined breast cancer survivors at LMC for the Pink For Two Tea Party.

This year alone almost 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States.

Tonight's event helped to celebrate the two and a half million women who fought to stay alive and conquer the disease.

"This is a beautiful time to thank people that gave support during our treatments."

"At the end of the month we want to wrap it up by saying Laredo Medical Center is behind you to help you win the fight against cancer."

Physicians present at the event want to remind the public that the best way to fight breast cancer is early detection.
