BP Salutes Honor Guard Academy Class VI

Dozens of local law enforcement officials gathered to celebrate the end of a long week of training. The Laredo Border Patrol Sector's Honor Guard Academy held a celebration at the Civic Center Friday. Members of different law enforcement agencies participated in the week long training. Where they learned how to perform some of the most time honored military traditions. Members of the academy learned how to perform the 21-gun salute, marching drills, and even how to fold the United States Flag. The United States Border Patrol performs several Honor Guard engagements throughout the year.
