Early voting slow in Webb County

Voting for today's state special election on Constitutional amendments has been very slow here in Webb County.

Early voting was also below average with less than a thousand people participating.

It’s not just Webb County where things are slow; it’s throughout the state of Texas.

Election day proved to not be much different:

"The polls opened at 7 and up until the 11:30 count, we had about 250 people that had voted so it’s been kind of slow."

Eleven amendments are on the ballot.
