Buy-Back program reinstated by the County

Many Webb County employees were upset after a program buying back their sick leave hours was done away with, but the County Commissioners’ Court voted to reinstate it.

The unanimous vote came after Commissioners found there was enough money in the budget to keep the program, which allowed certain County employees the ability to sell their unused sick leave hours back to the County.

The only County employees eligible are members of law enforcement.
