It’s been a long while since anyone has been able to purchase a Slurpy in Laredo.
But, now 7 Eleven is making its comback to South Texas and to right here in the Gateway City.
A spokesperson for 7 Eleven tell us they just purchased 143 Speedy Stops and Tigermarts from a company in Victoria.
They say they’re trying to build their presence in Texas, along the I-35 corridor and along the Mexican border.
These are the following locations 7 Eleven just bought out.
Two locations on Mcpherson, one on Mines Rd., another on Loop 20, and another on Espejo Molina Road.
They say they still have plans to grow even more.
7 Eleven is a global leader in convenience retailing and gasoline distribution.
City leaders say they welcome such a business.
