PD Chase in South Laredo: Marijuana Found

Police say a call of a suspicious vehicle leads officers to bundles of marijuana and even on a short chase. The chase began at the intersection of Corada and Cierra Vista around 9:30 a.m. in south Laredo after authorities tried to pull over the suspicious vehicle. Officers say 27-year-old Gilberto Rodriguez later abandoned the vehicle he was driving and took off on foot. He was later arrested a few blocks away and will be charged with possession of marijuana and evading arrest. Police later did find four bundles of marijuana in the vehicle.
