Huge cache of weapons found in couch

An arsenal of weapons is found hidden in a sofa at the Laredo port of entry.

CBP agents at the Lincoln-Juarez Bridge made the seizure.

It happened Monday in one of the outbound lanes headed toward Mexico. That's when a mini-van was sent to secondary inspection after agents were alerted to possible contraband in the truck.

A non-intrusive scan of the vehicle and its contents led agents to find 14 hidden guns, 26 magazines and 200 rounds of ammunition hidden in the furniture.

The driver of the truck, Paul Giovanni de la Rosa of Medford, Minnesota, was placed under arrest and turned over to ICE agents.
