The Laredo Independent School District is teaming up with our sister station Telemundo to take donations for the "Coat Them With Love Campaign".
The campaign has been on-going for about a month now ... and works towards providing coats for less fortunate children.
Today organizers held the final coat drive at wal-mart on loop twenty.
LISD officials say as of Tuesday .. they've collected at least 1,150 coats .. and the support of the community has been outstanding.

“Trememdous support from the community especially the students of the Vidal M. Trevino magnet school they’ve gather 700 to 800 coats which is half do we encourage others to help with this cause.”
If you would like to donate to the coat them with love campaign ... coats are being accepted until Monday at any Compass Bank ... Comet Cleaners or at the L.I.S.D Communications office.
