Two men are in the hospital tonight after being shot just a few miles outside of Laredo city limits.
According to authorities... the shooting took place south of Laredo at around 8 o'clock tonight.
Sheriff’s deputies picked up two men suffering from gun shot wounds in the Rio Bravo… El Cenizo area.
Once meeting up with e-m-s crews at the speedway on highway 83...
It was determined a man in his twenties had been shot in the leg and a man in his early thirties shot in the upper body.
Both were alert and responding to questions.
It is unclear why the men were shot.
They were both taken to the Laredo Medical Center in stable condition.
