Gathering designed for people born with cleft lips and palates

An organization to bring children and adults born with cleft lips or palates birth defects are hosting a gathering.

In the meetings patients are able to heal and talk about their social issues.

Joe Rutland, founder of Heartfelt Smiles, was born the condition, but underwent numerous plastic surgeries through his freshman year in high school.

The gathering will be at the Ruth B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, December 15th at 10:30am and is open to the public.
