Jingle bell run rocks!

By KGNS News

The city of Laredo’s Annual Jingle Bell Run is being called a huge success thanks to hundreds of people.
Registration began bright and early this morning at the IBC Bank on San Isidro and McPherson.
Organizers say at least 250 people laced up their walking and running shoes to participate in the race that benefits the city's summer track program.
And for the first time walkers also joined in to help fight hunger.
Cindy Liendo Espinoza, City Council Member
“This is the 19th year for the Jingle Bell Run and it’s the biggest amount of runners we've ever had and it’s the first year for our hunger awareness walk so we’re pleased with the turnout as well.”
The entire event was put together with the help of IBC Bank.
