A big disappointment for many Lil' Wayne fans is now turning into a sigh of relief and Laredo Entertainment officials say the concert has been rescheduled. Our Annette Garcia has more on the story. " '(Annette): We've seen people coming in and out of the Laredo Entertainment Center here--many with the same question of 'will the show go on' and LEC officials say 'yes it will' tonight.' 'We've been busy getting calls all night and all this morning.' L.E.C. staff having to answer many calls and questions after fans heard news that Lil' Wayne had been detained in Falfurrias by Border Patrol yesterday afternoon after officers found Marijuana on two of the rapper's tour buses. As many of you may remember, fans camped out in the freezing temperatures just to get a ticket into last night's concert. So when they heard it had been postponed, most were devastated. LEC officials, however, now say the show will go on, and it will happen tonight. 'Tonight for sure he's in town ready to play. We've been talking to his management and he's excited to be here in Laredo,' says Roy Medina, General Manager of the Laredo Entertainment Center. (Annette) 'The rap star and several others were detained, but later released. That case has been turned over to the Brooks County Sheriff's Office who has not commented. Meanwhile, like we said, the concert is scheduled to begin tonight at 7:30, and tickets are still available. I'm sure plenty of people have been watching and waiting. At the Laredo Entertainment Center, Annette Garcia, Pro 8 News." L.E.C. officials also say that anyone wishing to receive a refund may do so at the location where the tickets were purchased.
