Students name new Border Patrol horses

Two of the Border Patrol's newest additions have now officially been named.

Students from Salvador Garcia Middle School and Antonio Gonzalez Middle had the opportunity to name two of the four new horses the agency recently acquired.

The steeds are now named Ranger and Tornado.

In a ceremony in Rio Bravo this morning, the creative students presented the horses with sashes that will be proudly displayed in the upcoming Washington’s Birthday parade.
