Literature came alive this morning for kids at the Laredo Independent School District.
Educators put on their handy, dandy hats for a mini-parade through the streets of downtown Laredo.
It's all a part of Read Across America, and this week, LISD is recognizing the works of Dr. Seuss in time for his birthday on March second.
Dr. Seuss’ unique writing style helps young readers develop their own vocabulary at an early age.
Read Across America is celebrated from February 22nd to the 26th.
