The Laredo Police Department is now investigating the death of a man who was pinned underneath a vehicle.
The incident occurred around noon in the 29 hundred block of Vicente.
When first responders arrived they found 75-year-old Juan de Dios Rios on the ground unconscious with upper body injuries.
Crews tried to resuscitate him and transported him to the Laredo Medical Center were he later died from his injuries.
According to witnesses at the scene he was found pinned underneath a vehicle.
Another family members used a jack to lift the vehicle and remove the man from underneath.
Police are now investigating weather or not it was an accident.
