Animal control received a phone call about foul smell coming from both homes.
When officers arrived they found more than 20 roosters inside cages.
One of the investigators says those roosters have visible cuts that show signs of cock fighting.
Animal control has been waiting for police investigators to get a warrant for both homes to remove all of the roosters.
