Border Patrol agents seize more than 500 pounds of marijuana in two different cases.
The first seizure happened on Friday as agents out of Hebbronville tried pulling over the driver of a Ford pick-up truck.
After a brief chase, the driver bailed out at a nearby ranch, abandoning the vehicle.
Upon further investigation, the agents found six bundles of marijuana inside the truck.
In the second case, agents responded to a call of suspicious activity in south Laredo, near Margarita Lane. There, agents found four suspects carrying large bundles of marijuana.
The suspects dropped those loads and fled into Mexico.
The drugs seized in both cases are estimated to be worth $369,000.
