A multiple vehicle accident sends 11 people to the hospital.
The accident happened around seven Thursday evening at Loop 20 and Saunders.
Three vehicles were involved; one even caught fire.
Fire and EMS crews responded with four ambulances and two fire trucks to the scene and started treating the patients involved in the accident.
All eleven people involved were transported to both Laredo Medical Center and Doctors Hospital.
Two people sustained serious injuries.
The area of the highway was blocked off due to the severity of the accident.
