The search is over for an accused murderer Saturday evening, as Webb County sheriff deputies track his whereabouts and put him back behind bars.
This is Mario Alberto Garza shortly after his capture.
He was on the loose after officials at the Webb County jail said they executed an order of dismissal by a district court.
Prior to that Garza was in custody in connection to the murder of 52-year-old Agustin Tamayo back in August of 2011.
In a press release issued Saturday, Sheriff Martin Cuellar said his department is responsible for the safety of the community and they worked diligently to apprehend the dangerous individual to get him off the streets.
Garza is back in custody once again on a $250,000 bond pending further court proceedings.
