There's an update in one of Laredo’s highest profile crimes.
It involves a Laredo doctor killed in her home back in 2007.
It was June of 2007 that Dr. Marissa Keene was found dead in the backyard of her home.
The death sparked an expansive investigation that hit a number of roadblocks.
The biggest involved a question: was Marissa Keene murdered or was her death an accident.
We'll more than five years later the Laredo Police Department is expected to announce that Keene’s death was murder.
It had been a death investigation until recently, so what changed?
