Armed Robber Gets Shot at Papi Chulos

A suspect is shot in the leg after trying to rob a Papi Chulos beer run.
Police tell us that three people are now in custody.
Fernando Gallegos, 20, Humberto Gomez, 22 and Nadia Lopez, 35.
According to reports, Gallegos drove up to the beer run with the two other individuals.
Police say Gallegos held a male employee at gunpoint, and then pistol-whipped him in the face.
Gallegos, were told tried to get into the cash register, when a scuffle broke out between him and the employee.
That’s when Gallegos is believed to have been shot in the leg.
However, he managed to get back into his vehicle and made an escape.
Police later apprehended the Gallegos, Gomez and Lopez on Hardy and Guadalupe Street.
All three were arrested, but only after Gallegos and the employee were treated at Laredo Medical Center.
