And the people at Blue Bell showed their generosity by sending some cool treats to the station on National Weatherperson's Day.
The ice cream maker sends several buckets of ice cream every year to recognize our own Chief Meteorologist, Richard “Heatwave” Berler.
The holiday is observed in the United States, usually on February 5th, the birthday of John Jeffries.
It recognizes individuals in the fields of meteorology, weather forecasting and broadcast meteorology, as well as volunteer storm spotters and observers.
