A local non-profit organization is raising funds for literacy services.
“Friends of the Library” in conjunction with Books a Million had a book fair today.
The organization is trying to raise money to expand Laredo Public Library branches that will be located in South Laredo and Mines Road.
The fair is held every four months to encourage people to read.
And if the customer is willing, 10 % of the purchase goes to that charity.
