Bruni Teacher Update

It's an update to the story we brought you out of Bruni about a high school student who took his own life. 16-year-old student, Oscar Cruz took his own life last month. KGNS has tried contacting the school district for an update on the suspension of the teacher involved in that case, but they have not returned our phone calls. The Webb County Sheriff's Office has stepped in and is investigating the case. They say they’ve seized some electronics and that investigators are requesting help from the feds and are asking them to use their lab to see if they can analyze the forensics of the instruments. They go on to say they've been working on a new lab so they can work on cases like this locally in the future.
