We start our newscast with a shocking accident taking place in North Laredo. where a male driver hits a tree, and a concrete fence while he reportedly drove at a high rate of speed.
It's our top story at ten.
We're told that accident took place soon before one in the morning.
Witnesses say the 24 year old male driver of a Toyota Corolla was driving at a high rate of speed on the 82 hundred block of Country Club.
When he lost control and hit a tree, then concrete fence.
We are told the driver had to be removed from the vehicle with the jaws of life and witnesses say it took the rescue crews about an hour to remove the 24 year old from the vehicle.
Residents of the area say it is a miracle the driver survived the accident.
the patient was later transported to Doctor's Hospital, police tell us he suffered serious injuries.
