Dozens of people spent the afternoon at San Agustin cathedral today. Bishop James Tamayo celebrated a noon mass today along with dozens of Laredoans in support of religious liberty.
The mass was celebrated in solidarity with catholics throughout the United States making the beginning of fortnight for freedom.
The national campaign is designated by the U.S. Catholic Bishops to teach and support religious liberty.
Catholics across the country are urged to stand up for their religious rights and make sure their voices are heard.
