The son of an armed forces veteran accepts an honor on behalf of his father from Congressman Henry Cuellar at the Laredo City Hall. Edward Camina accepted a signed document from the Congressman honoring his father Robert Camina for his service in Texas' last acting cavalry. In 1941 Camina and his brigade were asked to turn in their horses before the start of World War Two.
The U.S. Cavalry Branch was absorbed into the Armor Branch as part of the Army Reorganization Act of 1950.
