Over one thousand people took advantage of services being offered by Operation Lone Star.
The program made its way to Rio Bravo and Zapata this year. Over 1 thousand medical exams screening services and immunizations were given.
The program was made possible with the help of Texas Joint Military Forces which uses the program as a disaster training exercise. Operation Lone Star also helped the Texas Department of Health services and the many local organizations that helped.
