The two local school districts joined forces to offer a conference for young pregnant teens. The conference was held Wednesday at Texas A&M International University, and was geared toward girls that are currently pregnant. The conference is held every year and is a collaboration between the UISD and LISD 'Pep Programs', or Pregnancy, Education, and Parenting Programs. A series of guest speakers were in attendance to talk to the teens about issues they may face.
