Complaints about high cable bills have Congress introducing new legislation that could help lower your costs for the channels you want. Senator John McCain introduced legislation that would allow customers to choose exactly the channels they want rather than being forced to buy a bundle. McCain said in a speech that cable prices have more than doubled since 1995 and called the prices "unfair" and "wrong." The bill, called “The Television Consumer Freedom Act,” has received strong opposition from the broadcast industry.
