The office of Constable Rudy Rodriguez has received a large grant that the constable has decided to share with other offices in the county.
Commissioner Jaime Canales says the half a million dollar grant will be distributed among constable offices in Webb County and will help pay for overtime for deputies and equipment.
Jaime Canales \ Webb County Commissioner:
“We obtained it through the office of Rudy Rodriguez and we are happy we can help other constables this is extremely important because if we can save taxpayer money its beneficial.”
Canales says the grant will go a long way in better protecting the community.
