The director of the Webb County facilities and building maintenance department responds to accusations that he lied on his job application.
We told you last night about how voices in democratic action, or VIDA, said Gilberto Garza falsified information to get hired, and how they want him out.
Mister Garza released a statement to KGNS news today saying all the information he provided was correct and verified by the proper authorities.
Vida members provided documentation that says work dates Gilberto Garza provided in his application are contradicting.
VIDA is asking the county to terminate Gilbert Garza because he didn’t even meet the minimum requirements for the position.
