Couple Arrested For Evading Police

A crafty couple finds themselves behind bars after a series of events in which they were evading police lands them in cuffs.
Arrested in the case are 34-year-old Christina Cecilia Ramirez and 44-year-old Patrick Edward Garza.
According to police, the situation started this afternoon at the Lacks Furniture Store off San Dario.
We're told the couple had gone to the store, demanding money for a return they allegedly never made.
The situation got out of hand and employees had to call the police.
When officers showed up, the couple took off.
Apparently going in their own separate directions.
Ramirez reportedly tried to escape in a vehicle forcing an officer to draw his weapon, she surrendered.
Police were waiting for Garza at his residence in the 15-hundred block of Lane Street a short time later where he was arrested.
According to police this is one in a series of arrests for the couple.
Garza has reportedly been arrested 35 times, dating back to 1990, mostly dealing with theft.
As of today, Ramirez has been arrested 19 times.
Garza is charged with evading arrest; while Ramirez is charged with evading and resisting arrest.
