State troopers are releasing the condition of the victims of a highway crash in the east part of town. It was on highway 59 about 18 miles out where the driver of a red pick up truck collided with a dually hauling a trailer. Troopers say the trailer was pulling out of a driveway. The red pick up was traveling down the highway and reportedly tried to get around the trailer but ended up colliding with it. An emergency helicopter had to airlift a male from the red pick up to Laredo Medical Center while woman was transported by ambulance. We’re told the two were coming from Mexico headed to Houston. Their names have not been released at this moment, but we are told both are in stable condition. Meanwhile, the occupants of the dually did not suffer any injuries.
