We spoke to congressman Henry Cuellar over the phone Monday about the possible government shut down. He says the focus right now is on health care, while it should be on passing a budget. "We should not be talking about health care, we should be talking about the appropriation itself, and you tell me about any interviews you've seen on TV, locally nationally, or anywhere, nobody's talking about the budget, everybody's talking about health care. I'll be the first to say I supported health care, health care will be very good for us, for Webb County, but that is another time, another place that we ought to be talking about that." Cuellar went on the say that the health care law was passed by Congress and ruled constitutional by the Supreme Court.
