An alleged leader of a religious cult in Mexico has been arrested.
The video shows the Nuevo Laredo ranch, where Ignacio Gonzalez de Arriba, along with 24 people, were detained for being in Mexico illegally. Immigration officials say Gonzales de Arriba heads the cult 'Los Defensores de Cristo', a group being investigated for human smuggling. According to officials, they visited his ranch recently and found 20 people from Central America living in inhumane conditions. Five children ranging between the ages of 8 months and 14 years old were among those found. One of those children, an 11 year-old girl, is supposedly married to a 40 year old man, a practice permitted by the cult.
According to Mexican authorities, the group of people have been transported to Mexico City.
