Four years and five books later the Laredo Public Library's 'One City, One Book' program is still going strong. This time, they've selected Prisoner of Tehran: One Woman's Story of Survival Inside an Iranian Prison, a memoir by Marina Nemat.
A book discussion will be held on Wednesday, September 19th, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Conference Room 1st Flr.
On Saturday, Sept. 22 and Tuesday, Oct. 3 they will also be holding book discussions as they prepare to welcome the author in Laredo later on in the coming months. On Oct. 4, they will also be watching a documentary "Then and Now."
